With a degree in Creative Arts from San Jose State, Lon Lopez first established Thanks But No Thanks Productions as a record label in 1995. The company soon blossomed into an independent production house, specializing in film, video, graphic design and music. TBNT prod. has since produced independent feature films, short films, television commercials, and music videos, as well as print ads for small business owners, CD covers and flyers for local musicians, and T-shirt designs for individuals. TBNT prod. had the opportunity to create some artwork for the city of Palo Alto by creating children's carnival games for their fall and winter seasons. Also in preparation for a short film, TBNT prod. created a life size "Kool Aid Man" costume for a short film, which later went on to win first place in the

Wizard Magazine's Direct to Video Contest.
